I actually rank this set behind 2005's set.

I might rank this overall as one of the worst sets of Botcon Exclusives since the convention started.

i think sales echo that too... still not sold out.. after all absentees are filled...
bsd economy...bsd repaints...i am glsd these are exclusives

The past 2 or 3 years have sold out before the entire set has finished being announced.

Didn't they also reallocate some of the attendee sets to fulfill more non-attendee orders? Saw they'd gone to the Wait List and caught up for all of the people on it.

HOLY CRAP, I actually really need that!!!

I missed the original SW reissues.

Is that only for club members or some crap, or can any SDCC attendee grab one?

The botcon set fails, at least in my eyes, because they will not give up on those cybertron/armada/energon molds. I'd rather see some RID molds at this point than these. But universe and animated are definitely the way to go in the future. Shame alternators aren't available. Or maybe use titanium just without the diecast metals in there.

Yeah, I can't really figure that out. Why keep using those damn molds? The best molds have already been overused, and they obviously don't fit the distinctive Animated aesthetic. It was a stretch enough using them for Beast Wars characters. I'd have thought Universe and Alternator re-uses would be no-brainers.

Animated molds would have been ideal, but with the intricacy involved on those, I'd think certain re-toolings would be tricky. A lot of those pieces are pretty snug, so I'd think re-paints would be the only option with many of them. There would be mass riots among the TF fan community if they decided to release exclusive molds ONLY at Botcon.

Hobby Link Japan currently has many Transformers on clearance including some Encore and the earlier Henkei releases. Thought some of you might like to know.

I forget, why EMS is so much higher than SAL? Metroplex looks enticing.

Looks like a decent price for Henkei Optimus, highly recommended in my opinion.

As for Metroplex, he is tempting, but all the rumors of rampant fakes has me hesitant.

EMS is like a 2-3 day service with tracking, unlike SAL which is sent by boat and can take up to a couple months to be delivered.

Oh, I went to Target today to check out their sale that started today. Animated Deluxes were $8, but the Universe Deluxes were still regular price. However the Universe Voyagers and Ultras were on sale. Picked up Inferno. So happy. Also saw the Animated Battle packs featuring Sunstorm and purple Shockwave were going for $4.99. However there was no Shockwave in sight.
